Intermediate to Advanced Level

For those of you who may be interested in learning how to repair their own computer, I have listed several good books that are a great place to start. These first five books that I have selected are really geared more towards someone with some experience working on their own computer or at least some basic electronics knowledge (Intermediate to Advanced Level).

Beginner Level

These next five selections are geared a little more towards those with little or no experience working on computers (Beginner Level). However these are also great for anyone who is just interested in knowing a little more about how their computer works and simple things that you can do to help keep it working optimally.

Tools

If you plan to do any serious computer repair you are going to need some tools. Here are a few computer repair tool sets to look through. (If you are planning to work on Laptops you are going to need a good set of very small screwdrivers.)
